Create a batch of cards from words you already have, such as vocabulary from a lesson or book. Word-list creation is free and accepts up to 100 entries at a time.
Create the cards

Open your deck and select Add card, then Generate.

On iOS, select From my word list. On Android, select My word list.

On the Word list screen, type or paste your words, with one word or expression on each line.

Optional: Add a translation after a colon, for example Bonjour: Hello.

Open Card fields to choose the details you want, such as examples or pronunciation. See Customize card generation for the available settings.

Select Create. Flexi generates and saves the cards, then shows the results.
Check the saved cards and edit any translation, definition, or example that needs changing.
FAQ
Can I choose meanings before saving?
Word-list creation saves the generated cards as a batch. If you want to compare suggested meanings and edit a card before adding it, create a card from a single word or expression instead.
What if my list has more than 100 words?
Split it into lists of no more than 100 entries and create each batch separately. This is a limit for one request, not the number of cards your deck can contain.
Can I generate images for the whole batch?
No. Card fields controls examples, definitions, written pronunciation, and parts of speech, not images. After creating the cards, you can add or generate an image in each card’s editor with Flexi Premium.
