Find vocabulary for a topic you want to practise, such as a conversation you are preparing for or a subject where you need more words. Choose the suggestions you want to turn into cards.
Topic vocabulary generation requires Flexi Premium.
Generate and save topic cards

Open your deck and select Add card, then Generate.

On iOS, select From topic. On Android, select Generate by topic.

Enter a topic or choose a suggested one. A specific situation, such as “ordering breakfast at a café,” gives you a clearer starting point than a broad subject such as “food.”

Choose 10, 20, or 40 suggestions, then select Generate.

On Suggestions, select the words you want to learn.

Optional: Open Card fields to choose which details to generate for the cards.

Select Create N cards, where N is the number selected. Flexi creates and saves cards for those words.
Review the saved cards and edit any details you want to change.
Replace words you do not want
On Suggestions, select the words to replace, then choose Replace. Select Same level, Easier, or Harder to request replacements.
Check the new suggestions and select the words you want before creating cards.
FAQ
Can I leave out words I already have?
Yes. Open Selection and choose Deselect duplicates. You can also use Select all or Deselect all to change the selection, then adjust individual words before creating the cards.
Can I generate images for the whole batch?
No. Card fields controls examples, definitions, written pronunciation, and parts of speech, not images. After creating the cards, you can add or generate an image in each card’s editor with Flexi Premium.
